Great pickup. Clean or distorted
I put this pickup in place of the stock one ( Ibanez RG120), and noticed a major difference! Very nice, clean and bassy tone. Sounds just like my PRS SE custom 24, which is very smooth as well. Made a 100$ guitar sound like a 700-1000$ guitar easy. Great upgrade.
High Gain Pickup for Soaring Leads
These pickups are the real deal. They have incredibly high output for a passive pickup yet provides the clarity required for clean tones. In my opinion blows away the Dimarzio Illuminator pickups after putting them on a PRS Custom 24 SE and comparing that guitar with a Music Man JP13.They are so high output that they are almost like an EMG but still keeping the passive pickup property… read more and dynamics. Yes, they are a bit expensive but totally worth the price.
