Truly great Delay. I choose to put my delay after Chorus and Tremelo. Really sounds great in this position. Took me all of 15 minutes to dial in many of it's features. Gonna learn a lot about this pedal few days when we play show.

For years, I used the standard carbon copy. I needed tap tempo and the tap div (dotted eighth, triplets, etc...) for country slapback, reggae and other sounds that the deluxe makes easy. I upgraded to the deluxe and I am very happy with the tone and functionality. If you see Don Carr's Sweetwater video on the standard carbon copy, he refers to it as a very "musical" pedal. He is… read more spot on and says it all. This unit provides more features while preserving that beautiful musicality that Don gives a great tour of in that video.

It's got that classic analog BBD Delay sound with expanded Delay time and the option to make it bright plus modulation control. This new Carbon Copy deluxe is a home run

The knock on the mix knob is true, the sweep on it is a little crude, bit I've been really satisfied with this pedal. The control on the modulation is cool and the bright switch is a nice feature. Five stars from me.
