Hard shell, TSA approved lock, guitar fits like a glove (RGA42HPTQM-BIG). Other have commented about the interior pockets not having closable covers. If you look closely to the lid of the case, the padding protrudes into the pockets essentially forming a cover. Yes, you need to remove the trem bar, but don't you normally have to, you do with my other cases.
