Reverb heaven
There's just so much in the realm of reverb that this thing is able to achieve it is hard to put into a review. Every single mode is very usable and extremely flexible with all the parameters that you can tweak. It's difficult to make the pedal sound bad. Just buy one because it's the only reverb pedal you'll ever need.
Awesome
Pretty sounds you can get with this pedal with many variations and sound options I just love it thank yo Aaron Tremain
This thing is awesome!
I needed a good stereo reverb and this thing absolutely delivers! It's the last thing on my pedalboard and one of my favorite pedals on it.
R1 !! Nothing else needed
Excellent piece !! From traditional reverb to off the wall reverb sounds !! Add to any rig and instantly turn into a studio quality sound ....
The Best Reverb I've ever owned
After multiple internal debates between this and the Earthquaker Astral Destiny, I decided to go with the Walrus R1 based on the videos I've seen (both great sounding pedals by the way). The pedal itself is very pedalboard-friendly and sits nicely on my Pedaltrain 2 with no issues. The enclosure isn't too big or too small and the pedal itself is very light. If you are looking… read more for the perfect reverb pedal for post-rock, then pick this up immediately! The programs of reverbs in this pedal are astounding. There are so many ways to tweak your tone that you will spend hours just playing around with what this can do. In addition to the program knob, you have three toggle switches to further add to your sound. It will take too much time to type all of them out, but check out the videos on the page and you'll see what I mean. You can save three presets on the pedal and 128 with MIDI.My favorite reverbs (so far) on this pedal are the BFR and RFRCT. BFR (Big F****** Reverb, by the way) is a huge arena reverb that just sounds incredible. RFRCT taps into my love of This Will Destroy You by adding glitch effects, with the ability to customize how it glitches. All of the reverb programs sound great. I have no negatives about this pedal, but if you want something a little more basic, then this pedal may not be for you. To me, there are endless possibilities with this pedal and I know I barely scratched the surface. I can't wait to spend even more time with it and find my own reverb sound.
