Not Good in Gibson Les Paul
Purchased this thing, wired it into a pigtail (thanks Gibson for the useless quick connect system), installed it into my Gibson Les Paul Tribute and it just sucked the tone (I'm from Louisiana & play Sludge / Doom metal & wanted to try it out, heard so many great things), and I play a really high gain rig... Anyway, anyone who plays a Gibson Les Paul, knows the tone I'm talking… read more about, that's only found in a Gibson Les Paul... Great Metal pickup but, not at the expense of what I bought the guitar for... Played it about 3 hours, then replaced with original PU... Put it in an ESP, Jackson, etc,; and it'll throw down... WARNING: Extremely High Output PU (Probably more than an Invader)... Just my opinion...
Beast
I upgraded my Jackson js32 with this in the bridge and I was absolutely blown away by the clarity and bite these pups have with keeping the low end and punch for my chugs and djent.
