It has a good sound for it's size. I have it by my desk for impulse practicing. I took it in the car once so far, and played while I waited outside for a friend I took to an appointment. I love that it stays in tune so well.

Got this for Christmas 2021, so I've been playing it for about 4 months now, and overall really enjoy it. It does take some getting used to - resting my right forearm on the top felt weird at first. Also, if you're playing while standing and let it go, the neck pivots downward pretty extremely, it's quite a bit heavier than the body. What I really enjoy about it is the somewhat… read more unusual, but great sound. It's a bit more jangly sounding than my full size Seagull, and although I've never played a cigar box style guitar, I have heard them, and it reminds me a bit of the cigar box sound - all very positive, I really like the sound. And of course, small, compact, easy to travel with!

I took this little guy to work at sits ready and available at a short lean. I get these fret patterns in my head and can't wait for after… besides, home is 45 min drive… so I just close the door and work em out. Sounds great. Nice projection for a little body. I love it.

Anytime you get a new guitar, you have to play around with it for a bit to get use to it. The Backpacker was very easy to get accustomed to playing. It is nice and compact, making it very easy to carry around. It comes with a nice gig bag and strap. It's not as loud as a full-size acoustic and does not have as rich of a sound as a full-size acoustic but that is to be somewhat expected… read more given the scaled down size of the backpacker. But after playing it, I have really come to like it a lot. I am happy with my purchase.

I do long backpack trips of many miles. There is no guitar I know of that I can carry into the backwoods with such a small footprint. The shape lends itself to attaching onto my pack. Many smiles from fellow travelers when they hear a guitar, way out in the middle of nowhere, playing a familiar song.
