Great Martin Guitar!

WOW! I love this guitar. It sounds wonderful. It is the easiest playing guitar that I have ever owned. I have a more expensive Martin, but I like playing the D15M Streetmaster the best. I highly recommend it.

Just received this Martin D-15M Streetmaster with gig bag and let me tell you while it is pleasing to the eyes, your olfactory senses will be in music heaven, it smells awesome! This is a light in weight, but heavy in tone that sounds pretty good. I was blown away with its playability so much, its my now may "go to" when I practice, it's just crazy fun to play since it is light read more and responsive. Once again JB at SW you came through for me, I really like the way that Martin "distressed" the guitar in appearance, it really authenticates the look at a time back when. The guitar is so eye catching, even my wife said - wow, that is the best looking you have and its sound pretty good too. I just grinned with agreement. This guitar is mahogany, sides and neck, sitka X bracing, 20 fret and without any built in preamp. I had SW install the neck strap button. Hope this review helps you in your decision if you're thinking about buying this guitar. For this price point, you really get bang for your buck. Well gotta go, my Martin D-15M is calling my name and I miss playing, so good luck and I recommend JB and Sweetwater for your music needs, they always been good to me over the years.

Finally...

not quite sure why they don't sell this one for more $ than they do but this all mahogany guitar is wonderful ! I'm quite sure it will not depreciate in value because I hear mahogany is becoming scarce , a wonderful guitar and will go toe-to-toe with any dreadnought that I have played for sure.

Amazing guitar

The first thing that drew me was the distressed look and it's a Martin. It plays amazing and I had it set up with low action and 12 gauge retro strings and plays beautifully and projects really well. Added a LR Baggs Anthem and it sounds better than my others. Jake had it set up just how I needed. The guitar combined with my Thalia Capo (they are awesome as well) is a piece of read more art you never get tired of looking at.
