A Martim Friend
My first experience with a Martin guitar was the Martin D-41. It was excuisite, a cannon and beautiful. To my dismay, I was so excited about the purchase, I did not order the guitar with a 1 3/4 inch neck. In 2009, you had to do that. Now, most martin's come that way. I gave that guitat to my nephew, who was thrilled. Then last summer, I bought the Martin HD-28, Sunburst.… read more At first, because I had history with the 41, I kind of had this "difficult to make me happy with anything else." However, upon taking this guitar to my local guitar shop, they adjusted the bridge and installed med strings on it. Much better. Only one thing I miss tho. The 41 had a nice thick pick guard. It didn't affect tbe sound at all. Otherwise, it still has magnificent over-tones, projection, tone and it practically plays itself. No wrestling match here! Pick one up soon!
Best Guitar I've Ever Owned
I've owned two Martins in my life, and had several other guitars pass through my hands. This guitar beats them all. If you want a smaller, more compact sound, there are other models that might suit you better - but this guitar is a canon and my life companion. Lovely instrument!
The best
the best u can get
Awesome but
Every thing you want in a guitar. I love the action I love balanced tone and quality of this guitar. I also have an awesome d35 but the hd28 playability is much better for some reason. I thought the d35 couldn't be beat until I got the hd28. Would not sell either. Martin guitars are great.
