Superb!… read more The guitar was packed perfectly! My outer box was pretty beaten up (thanks FedEx!) but the inner box was pristine! I have never ordered a guitar through the mail before but I would not hesitate again with Sweetwater! The Martin HD28 is a beautiful yet very simple looking instrument! Until you play it for the first time. The resonance through the body and the tone of the guitar far exceeded my expectations. What a fantastic instrument. Perfect string tension and action. And the sound?? Simply gorgeous. It does really well going between fingerstyle and picking. Just a great feel. I had a very high expectations and they were easily met. I would buy it again in second. Worth the wait and I'm glad I held out for this sucker. when you make a large purchase like this Sweetwater takes extra care in detail that your a happy customer. Youll see it when you get it. The only thing i recommend is once you get this guitar ditch the strings that are on it immediately. From leaving the factory to the warehouse and all the climate change the strings will feel very ruff. Put a new set on the guitar then fall… read more in love. I questioned my purchase because the feel just wasnt to my liking. Minute i changed those strings up to a 11...omg the tone on my guitar and sustain is un beatable. I purchased the fishman electronics i owned a fishman amp and love that company so couldnt go wrong. I tried it in my yamaha thr10 amp and works beautiful. Your not going wrong with this purchase its just impossible.
To think I get to keep this thing forever...
