Cherry is sweet!
Great guitar! My wife loves her new guitar! Sounds great plugged in and in intimate acoustic setting. Eric was instrumental in helping me pick the guitar to match her play style. Thank you Eric and Sweetwater!
OM Cherry Should Be Named OMG!
I have had this guitar for a few months now and am still amazed at the rich sound that comes out of this beauty. The playability is easy and the neck is spot on all the way up and down the fretboard. I played several Martin's at the guitar stores but could never find the OME Cherry to try out. I took a chance and bought this guitar only based on online videos, and I have to say… read more that I could not be happier with the sound and I in my opinion, it sounds better than even the $3500 Martin's I played. I venture to say it sings like a blend of a Taylor and a Martin giving me the best of both worlds. If your on the fence, just buy it now.
Even better than before
I had an OME Cherry about a year ago. Liked it but never really really loved it. It played nice, was super light, looked good. But had a few quirks like the tuners were incredibly hard to to turn, the back of the neck was an obvious two-piece with a long diagonal line through that back, and also had kind of a weird metallic sound. I did miss it though so got another one. What… read more a difference! The sound is improved somewhow. I think it sounds better than my last one. It plays great. The tuners are still the same brand but these ones are super smooth. Maybe they fixed the issue with last year's model or something. The back of the neck is a solid one piece, looks like beautiful mahogany. Just all around looks, plays and sounds incredible. Absolutely love it and so glad I was able to get another one.
Fantastic Guitar
A big shout out to Chris Lewis, who worked with my wife to surprise me (birthday) with my OME Cherry Martin. I also have a D-35, and a few Taylors. This is a fantastic guitar for the price. The appointments are incredible, the sound is excellent, and the intonation perfect. Not to mention it has a hard shell case very similar to my 1974 D-35. You won't find a better guitar for… read more the money, nor will you find better customer service than with Sweetwater! Thanks for making my birthday incredible!
Beautiful!
Beautiful instrument, and beautiful sound. The nicest acoustic guitar I have ever owned (and I've had some nice ones!).
