Maz 18 Jr w/reverb
I have owned this amp for a week now and love how it performs with no additional effects ! This thing covers more tones with the twist of a couple knobs than any other amp I've owned ! It is super lively and responsive and the reverb is incredibly lush ! Also much more headroom than you would expect from 18 watts ! Unless you play metal, you need to get you one of these amps !
MAZ 18NR 2
Super neat and versatile amp. Cool combination of Fender, Vox, and a little Marshall in one box. Combo itself is lightweight and sounds extremely full, easy to take anywhere, and will easily hang with a loud drummer. Clean to crunch+, very toneful and versatile. An extremely practical amp.
18 Watts of Tonal Bliss
I've never really been a review writing kind of guy but after purchasing the MAZ 18 I felt compelled to say a few words. While it does take a little time to understand this amp it's well worth it. This is not your typical amp, by that I mean it's not a Fender or clone so the EQ works much differently. The EQ section is very powerful and changes one way or the other can be dramatic.… read more That being said you can make this thing sound like virtually any amp you want. Fender cleans? Done. Vox territory? Perfect. Marshall?? All day long. And it also of course has it's own voice which is lush, articulate and powerful. Absolutely loud enough to keep up with a band so no worries about the 18 watt rating. Is she a little spendy? Yes, but soooooo worth it! Construction is flawless and no expense has been spared on details big and small. This thing is built like a tank and sure to give years of service. Also made right here in the good ole' USA, what more could you ask.
MAZ18 Best Ever
Had a couple other MAZ18 amps and they were great but still kept me longing for the tone I heard in my head. When I bought the Mk II I was blown away. Humbuckers and single coils sound fantastic. The tone in my head is now coming through my amp.
Its that good!
I have two older studio version's that I have had for some time and its been a learning curve with these...you play a tele or a strat...youll be be blown away with its voxy sweetness and harmonic texture...Hand wired and a big jump up from the usual pc board run of the mill...im eventually on for the mark 2 as they have done some critical tweaks that my older ones don't have...these… read more have been dr z's golden goose and swiss army knife for a reason...you might find its the only amp youll ever need...it is that good
