This Y connector does it right, works great and even though I am able to make my own, this item was the way to go.

Nice set of wires. I used mine to send a stereo signal into a Strymon Flint - ya gotta unscrew the back, move the little "bridge" piece over - then you can pump stereo into the Flint, using a stereo plug (TRS). I could have made my own adapter, but it would have looked like a monkeys armpit. This one is pretty Smurfy.
