I’m in love

I hope I'm not going to burn myself out on it because it's turned on the whole time of practicing anything other than a song. Sometimes even then. I'm very happy with it.

Nice and warm for these cool Fall days

Wow. This thing is way cool. It's going to take a few days for my ears to make a decision about all the variables. My other pedals are pushed aside at the moment. It's definitely a warm sound which is what I wanted. I'm glad I tried it out on my dinky Frontman 10G instead of the big Fender. You'll want to keep the volume down when taking the test drive.

Great combination of effects

Seems like the chorus and delay are needed a lot together -- this does a great job with them both. 2 in 1 -- more space on your pedalboard!

I use it on my clean amp side into a Fender 212 De Ville which I like because of its natural overdrive. it sits on the rack behind an Empress Vintage Super Delay set permanently to tape mode B. The Memory Boy is set to chorus and the analogue delay is way better than the former digital delay it replaced. My EJ Stratocaster and I now get that wonderful Eric Johnson clean delay sound read more I was looking for it completes the prefect shimmer!

Incredible Little Box

People compare this to the MXR carbon copy, but EHX's Memory Toy is actually the comparable product to that. With two waveforms, three different speeds for the waveforms, plus a depth knob to control the intensity of the waveforms, the Memory Boy does something completely different than the Memory Toy and the Carbon Copy, in addition to created the dark warm analog repeats that read more everyone loves. I'm sure the Analog Memory Man has more options and is probably even more amazing (I haven't listened to it), but that is over twice as expensive as this! You get ALOT for the price here. I have a little looper on my amp, and I have been layering sounds from this with my acoustic guitar plugged in. Enhances the tone of a super cheap guitar for sure, and it's a beautiful tiny introduction into the world of analog.
