Marshal Amp
This amp is great for the price and size. I love the built in effects.
Big sound in a little package
I couldn't be happier with this amp. I was looking for a "bedroom" practice amp that could sound as close as possible to my EVH 50W EL34 head and Marshall/EVH 4 x 12 combo cab configuration and this little guy delivered. You can really dial in the tone on each of the four channels and get a pretty full sound that is hard to find with solid state amps of this size. The built-in… read more effects are impressive as well for such a compact space and only one knob, well two counting the reverb control, which is also a delightful. Great purchase!
Great Marshall amp.
i dont know anything about amps. i purchased this for my son. i puchased a marshall because of the great reviews and the well known name. that being said, He absolutely loves this amp. Also, Sweetwater treated us great! thanks!
Small amp with lots of power
I have always wanted a Marshall amp, but I always figured they were too expensive to get a good one. I was wrong. I bought the Marshall MG15GFX 1X8" Combo Amp w/effects, a couple of weeks ago, and I'm very happy with it. It's small and portable, affordable, and powerful enough to drive my neighbors crazy. I love the effects, they are clean and clear and they sound great. I don't… read more need to buy extra pedals, although it has ports for them. The amp hooks up to a MP3 player too. I play pretty loud, and even so, I've had no problems at all. I'm very happy that I chose this amp. Overall I would say this amp is an amazing little amp. It's definitely worth the money I paid for it, which was an awesome price.
Do you want to be able to record listenable demos without waking the neighbors?
I'm giving this five stars for what it is, a practice amp. It's perfect for your living room. I own the Marshall MG100HDFX and this ia very very true to that tone, just dialed down. I used to keep my halfstack at home and make my fiance and neighbors upset but with this now I can leave them at the practice space. I record demos with this thing with the volume LOW, like fiance sleeping… read more in the next room over low, and with a few plug ins in reaper I'm still able to get a listenable demo. This amp can really deliver that paper thin solid state old school death metal tone a lot of players are going for currently. Put a tube screamer in front of it and it's absolutely divine. I really like that this allows me to have an idea, instantly get it in WAV. format on the computer, just by putting a mic to the amp and running it through my scarlett. I D E A L for that project you've been trying to crank out in quarantine.
