LOVE IT
What I love so much about this amp, is that similar to the telecaster I'm using, it FORCES me to get creative with my playing and songwriting. No frills, idk if that's the right expression. But NOTHING fancy. In a sense it is so much like the original (I am aware of what I just said, I mean conceptually). Now that is the speakers.Moving on to the headphones, the sound out of headphones… read more is PRISTINE! I get totally lost while playing. The best $ I ever spent.Volume / Tone / Gain Yes yesyes
Mini Twin Amp
Tweed rules! Beautiful mini-reconstruction of time honored look. Two speakers in a mini? Yep, with a growl and feedback. Gain adds immediate breakup of signal and sustain; tone will take you from gnarled grunge to crystal clear bell-like chimes. Plenty loud for practicing…maybe even for small gigs as a soloist. It's truly a little show peice now that performs well for it's small size. It's slowly becoming my go to amp when at home playing blues harmonica tunes. It really sounds that great!
Useful general purpose amplifier
I realized when I saw this amplifier for the first time that it not only is a neat little novelty, but is a really handy general purpose amplifier. I needed one for all kinds of testing functions in audio work, hobby electronics and amateur radio. This amplifier is rugged, compact and works great! All for a price that is comparable to that of commercial G.P. amplifiers I could have… read more bought. It's a great product at a great price. A friend of mine who is an electronics hobbiest saw mine and ordered one himself. I'm very happy with it!
Perfect for my needs.
I got this little amp to use at my workbench to test pickups, etc. I wanted to replace a larger, more cumbersome amp. This thing is excellent! It has a tiny footprint and sits on a narrow shelf above my workbench. And it sounds great!
