Much better than expected

Just getting back into playing guitar (30 years since I played). I wanted to take electric guitar on vacation to practice but wasn't going to be able to take an amp. I thought this was a toy when I first saw it on-line and read its dimensions..Called Sweetwater and talked to Andrew he was familiar with these Fender Mini-Amps. He said it should work for my intended use . Practice read more in a room , by myself not bothering anyone not waking up wife or children. I was impressed with volume and tone and the fact it's battery powered . I'm not a professional so my standards and expectations are not as high as others but I play for the fun of it and this Mini-65 is fun ! Well worth the price.

Gets pretty loud for 1 watt. Soooo clean. Can get sound from it even with gain at minimum for a clear, and clean fender sound. I've had a few mini amps before, and this is one of the best ones that are out there, this is cheap, it's cool, is one of the best sounding out there, and gets crunch with gain and guitar volume knob to get a tube amp being pushed like sound. I bought read more it to test pedal builds through and it works flawlessly.

I was really surprised at the size and detail of this amp. It is perfect for just about everything I need in a small portable amp. I don't crank it up louder than I need and it sounds good. Looks good too. And for the money I would tell others to try one if they want or need a battery powered amp for travel to practice with. I bought one years ago (1995) it cost twice as much then read more and smaller. Fender has come up with a good mini amp.
