This amp is a very small, desktop amp. It is not supposed to have deep bass or clean high treble. Anybody writing about it saying it doesn't have enough bass has a screw loose. It is the perfect amp for practicing if you don't feel like wearing headphones. It looks exactly like a shrunken Fender amp, and it DOES sound good, both clean and distorted. My band sometimes rehearses in… read more our motel room, and the drummer just beats on a cardboard box or something, and the fiddle player just plays and you can hear him, but if you're playing electric guitar, you won't get heard at all, and this tiny amp solves that problem completely. I have bought a couple thousand dollars of equipment from Iam Lemberg at Sweetwater, and that will continue if I keep having money. They are the best at customer service, price, and selection.

I have never been so satisfied with an amp purchase. This thing cranks. It has a variety of tones and distortion levels, and rings out each one. Easily one of my favorite amps.

I use this amp to practice in quiet environments, using earbuds. The tiny 2" speaker leaves a bit to be desired, but functions fine... as long as the gain is low enough. The earphone output delivers a very good sound and the overdrive is surprisingly good. Looks cute next to my brother's Hotrod Deluxe.

Not a gereat amp. Tone is not wonderful. I blew the speaker by not turning it up all the way.
