Bought this along with the Sunset for a grab-n-go pedalboard. I like extra options when it comes to overdrive, this made sense for me and I'm glad I got it. Doubles the possibilities of the Sunset by giving you another A, B, and A-B option. Once you get the hang of how to set your 'favorite' settings, it just makes the Sunset that much more versatile. Having this much flexibility… read more on a small pedalboard has me rethinking the future of my big pedalboard. The mini switch doesn't take up much space at all. Feels quality. Comes with TRS cable just long enough to allow some freedom where you place it in proximity to the Sunset or other Strymon pedal.

I got this to use as a favorite button for my Compadre. It recalls my favorite patch, but it doesn't sound anything like the patch I stored. I wrote to Strymon and they could care less. They offered me a couple things to try, and when nothing worked they were done. Found out that it's a 50% chance the firmware on the pedal is not up to date. They suggested I go buy a micro USB cable… read more and spend a few hours bumbling around updating the unit. And that MIGHT work. If you buy a Strymon with old firmware this won't work. And you have no way of knowing until after you buy it. Updates are because someone didn't do their job correct in the first place. I didn't pay $ for a pedal and $ for a extra switch so I could spend 4 hours finishing their job. Neither did you. Skip this.

This is not complicated and does exactly what it says. Comes with the TRS cable. It's very small and needs extra space on the board or you can accidentally activate multiple pedals. I gave it 4 stars because these days, most companies aren't including the necessary cables.
