I purchased a MusicNomad MN604 Precision Setup Gauge 6-piece Set from Sweetwater, it was shipped fast and arrived right on-time. I used it to set up my Martin Custom X Series Acoustic and it plays great now! The relief and action needed an adjustment due to the summer humidity and the kit and the on-line Sweetwater Videos really helped me to understand just what needed to be done… read more and I was able to do the setup myself. Then I set up my Fender Telecaster and now it plays easier that it played before! The nut needed to be filed a bit lower. Today I'm going to set up my Fender Stratocaster... so here goes! Thanks Sweetwater for always being there for your customers and providng the finest customer service around! I always go to Sweetwater first when ever I need anything musical.

After fumbling for years with a straight edge ruler, I decided to get a real set of gauges to do guitar setups. The Music Nomad setup gauges work great and are very reasonably priced. They are very good quality and should last years.

If you plan on changing any main component of your guitar, this is a must have. I did a rebuild of my old Squier strat with new nut, tremolo bridge and tuners. Setting the action and intonation was made much easier with clearly marked guages. Many quality parts and tools from Sweetwater have been delivered quickly to keep my projects and enthusiasm rolling.
