Worked great

I do ask my own set up and wanted to start doing fret and nut work. I bought the 10-46 set ace used it on four off my guitars. They worked perfectly. It does not take much effort to remove material. I read one review saying they got dull after 2nd use. I have not experienced that but I was only lowering string action , not cutting nuts so can't speak to that. There was no need… read more to Polish nut slots after filling so that worked as stated in the description. I like the handle but did remove the file from the handle for one guitar because it was easier. You can also flip the blade around to get more use out of it. I have never used other nut files but I am totally happy with their quality. It let me find the action at the nut on all of my guitars and they are still working fine so totally paid for itself after the first guitar! If you are thinking of doing basic nut work yourself watch music nomads videos then buy the files and be happy that you did it yourself!!
