I have an acoustic with a tusq nut and the low e and the a string were too high so igotthis and the 0.42 file they worked perfect like they said half dozen strokes and perfect took like ten minutes to file both slots( mostly retuning andchecking the height again)I've seen couple reviews that said they were trash they only lasted one nut I'm not a luthier so I didn't need to cut… read more a whole blank not sure if they will last but I would think they would who knows they worked perfect for deepening the slots and look the same as they did when I started
