Use many brands of nut files for acoustic and classical guitars but these are the best I found for the small diameter electric guitar strings. A+

Good quality nut file set. The files are easier to use than traditional files, the files start easily and don't skate or grab. They do seem to leave a smoother finish than toothed files. The handles are a mixed blessing. They are comfortable and easy to hold but they blocked my view of the work.

The tool has a great ABS plastic construction and has a really gritty file. Easy and comfortable to hold And easy to use. Comes in A padded ABS hard case.

Used them on a graphtech pre slotted nut on a guitar build I just did. First time doing any nut work, but they worked great. They cut very easily and I did not have to polish the nut slots after. I have no string binding or issue with staying in tune. The handles are comfortable and sturdy and the option to be able to remove the file is good. I only had to use them for this one… read more guitar, but it would have cost me the same or more to bring it to a tech, so not only did I learn how to do the work, I have a set of really nice files.
