All that and ...
For two years now I have been putting together a (small bedroom) dedicated music room. Guitars, amps, pedals, cables and much more... (Thanx to Matt Zuleger and the Sweetwater team). Trial n error as to placement of it all and the one thing that always annoyed me was the loud pop unplugging an plugging in (newby i suppose) so I would try not to step on all the cords and pedals… read more as reached over top to the back of the amp to flip standby switch. Then After getting all situated with my next new favorite guitar I'd strum and nothing ... back on the stand....step and reach over again and flip that dern switch again and start over. I remember thinking if I only had a foot pedal for that switch too. Then I realized I Did !! Volume OFF !!! I purchased the lehle for all the other reasons and great reviews posted here and happy to say it's All that and a Killer Off Switch.
The Best Volume Pedal on the Market!
Ok, so I am little crazy about volume pedals... I had a Telonics, but this is better.I also had a Hilton, Goodrich, Visual Sound, and a few others. Sure the Telonics was more expensive than this, but this pedal is just perfect as it is! It really keeps and maintains your tone, and in fact, makes it better! You can add a slight about of boost if you want to your signal and you can… read more run this pedal in 9v, 12, or even 15v with the CIOKS DC7. I do admit, I ripped the band aid off, and I just use the volume pedal without the rubber feet. You can add another rubber pad to your pedal if you like, the only downside to me was the appearance of the pedal. But you can make this pedal look as cool as you want. The rubber pads come off easy without any damage to the pedal whatsoever. Under the pedal is just metal. I am very particular about my tone, especially playing multiple instruments like violin, mandolin, guitar, and bass. This pedal just makes everything sound better! Friends don't let friends play Ernie Balls. Ok, just get this!
The best volume pedal ever
I can't be more thankful for the rich tone that this baby delivers. The magnet technology is outstanding. No more stupid pots sucking your tone or stupid strings with inaccuracy. I have being playing with this babies since they first came. So now my second pedal board is enjoying another one to maintain that tone that we always dream off.
Finally a volume control that won’t wear out.
I've owned just about every volume pedal known to man. This pedal is crazy expensive but it's active, doesn't rely on friction based parts, and doesn't have some kind of exclusive wall wart. It powers up great with my pedal power 2+. It is dead quiet. It also cleans up my input signal so my guitar sounds like my guitar even though it's being dragged through a bunch of pedals.… read more 10/10 would spend the money again
Why have I been using mechanical pedals all this time???
Silent, clean, fast with a solid, heavy feel. I"ve gone through so many Ernie Ball pedals over the years. I absolutely love this thing.
