Martin titanium core guitar strings
Work great on my Taylor 714 ce
Martin Titanium Core --YES
I tried these VERY EXPENSIVE strings on my 69 Martin D-18 and newer D-42. I absolutely LOVE these strings! Very easy playability. Stable better than any other string I have used? Clear and resonant with great tone. I have now bought back up sets but don't know how long it will be before I need to change. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Fantastic fingerstyle strings!
In my 40+ years of playing, I've tried almost every type/brand of strings out there. When playing my Martin, I'm almost always finger picking, and when it comes to that, these are just incredible. The clarity, projection, and punch are the best I've ever heard, and by a wide margin. As expensive as they are, I don't imagine I'll be going back to phosphor/bronze strings ever again.… read more Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
Great strings
I would recommend everyone to try these strings at least once, simply because they have such a solid midtone. Insane sustain because of the density of the strings. Even with a light gauge these strings feel very dense. It had a punchy attack but can still play soft music. They are definitely different. If I had to say, they are the best strings I've ever played for acoustic steel… read more string guitar. But it's hard to even compare. Comparing them to other strings feels like comparing apples and oranges because they strings feel & sound so different than anything else. Most people won't like these. It sounds weird, honestly. Not what I'm used to. Out of the pack they're not very slick, as compared to nanoweb elixirs, which many pro's use, Eddie van der meer for example. But these titanium strings quickly becomes nicely playable when it absorbs enough natural oils from your hands. The elixir strings are totally nice. Always been my go to. And many top musicians use them. But in my opinion, in terms of quality, even though they have a weird sound, the Martin titanium strings are a league above elixir. These martins feel like true professional quality strings. The elixir sounds cheap by comparison. Just my 3 cents.
Worth Every Penny!
I was told about these strings, by another guitarist. He has them on all his Taylor & custom built acoustics. I tried a set & have been using them on my acoustics ever since. You won't be disappointed. JL
