I've used them all, and this is the best quick change capo out there. It securely frets without altering the guitar tuning. I stopped using "K" capos because the spring tension changes with wear and between different capos causing unpredictable results. I stopped using "D" capos because of the trigger design and uneven results. I've been playing since 1968 and G7 is my favorite… read more capo.

Works great for six or twelve string guitars and doubles nicely as a hand exerciser to work on finger strength while watching TV LOL - Love it

worth the xtra $made well and clamp is not so tight it doesn't pull the strings sharp. I have the silver and I assume the black works the same
