A True 12 String Guitar Capo
Finally, a Capo that actually takes into account the different gauge strings for the octave notes on the bottom four strings. Open chords and open drone notes really ring out.
Great advance in capo technology
The G7th capo works much better than any other standard capos I've tried on my Taylor 150 12-string. It's easy to put on/take off, and doesn't affect the tuning too badly (some tweaking recommended). NOTE: I tune my 12-string down a whole step, to reduce the stress on the neck, and so I use the capo for most of my playing. The action improved as a bonus!
Gr8 capo
Over the years I've had many capos, but this 12 string G7 capo is by far the best. One can adjust its tightness so as to not have strings "thud". I highly recommend this fantastic capo.
Best 12 string capo
G7th is the best 12 string capo I have ever used. Very little if any retuning is necessary after applying. Does everything it says
G7th guitar capo for 12 string
I have an unusual guitar. In the late 70s and early 80s double string instruments where on the rise. Singers and groups like John Denver, the Eagles and Zepplin used a lot of double string instruments in their music. Some how out of all this the 9 string guitar was developed. You don't see very many of them now but you will hear them on studio recordings. Bellamy Brothers and various… read more artist will include them in some of their recordings today. The capo that I purchased from Sweetwater is a perfect fit for my Alvarez Yairi 9 string guitar. I have always had bad luck with finding a capo that would work with the high third string (G string)on this guitar. I have always had to retune after installing a capo. The G7th capo does a fine job. Thank You Sweetwater and Joe Secu for your expertise.
