Been a G7th user since they first came out

I have four of the regular G7th capos for guitar and also the extended 12-string version. I like the low unobtrusive profile and the rounded brushed finish has a refined appeal. When it came time recently to get a capo for my banjo, I looked at the options but don't care for the swing-in-place bar concept. I was glad to see G7th makes this one. I do prefer the lever release read more on the guitar capos better than the adjustment knob on this but since it's dedicated to one banjo, very little adjustment will be required after its first use. This is far superior to the spring-loaded concept which forces your strings to go too sharp in pitch. Stores easily in my OME case. Some people complain you can't store it clipped on the headstock but I never like to do that anyway with any of my instuments.

Fine capo, just doesn't fit on a ukulele

The capo itself seems fine after limited use, and G7th doesn't advertise this as a ukulele capo ... unfortunately, Sweetwater does. It's failing on the first fret of an Oscar Schmidt OU5 Ukulele with about 18mm thickness, see photo. G7th confirmed that they don't have a solution for this looseness - they have been very responsive to me in figuring out if this is solveable without read more a new capo, btw.

Failed

Had this thing for several years with limited use. Found recently that the the solid metal bar that covers the frets has split at the 90 degree turn. Useless now. Really disappointed...
