Look Great But.......

Loved them at first but then looked at my shirt a couple minutes after playing. covered in green flakes same all over my guitar. they chip off where you pick almost instantly. so pretty much useless.Sound quality was ok from what i heard.But no way could recommend these. not really sure how they are still sold.

purchased asset on a whim. Was very disappointed as far as glow-in-the-dark had to hold strings up very close to black light in order to get any effect and the sound quality of the string is not acceptable. They sound like a pair of dead strings. Do not recommend these at all!

These strings LOOK great on my Black model Ibanez with green pick ups. I thought green strings would give the guitar a nice look...and it did! But sound wise...not so much. There was a slight, but noticeable muffled sound to these strings. After about an hour or so of extreme riffing, the green coating started to peel away from the strings. I did not find that to be OK by my… read more standards. So I took them off and put on my usual and trusty EVH set of strings. So, I had these strings on my guitar for ONE day. Hey, if you don't mind the coating peeling away...then go for it. But as a professional musician, I expected a bit more from DR for this price range. I do not think I will be buying these strings again in my lifetime.
