Is it just me
I'll tell you I just put on a set of 8s expecting super light performance. Wrong. These feel heavier than the 10s that was on it. **** hard to bend. I think they put the wrong strings in the box. I'll try ol Willies 7 gauge if that what it takes.
Bought to play Traditional Vietnamese music
I am a rock guitar player that has Vietnamese singers. And they wanted me to learn the song that has these really crazy wide bends. Vietnamese guitar players have super scalloped guitar necks that allows them to play really intricate phrasing and wide vibrato. And their bends can easily reach two whole steps! They have amazing sound and I can play forever without even getting tired. I have to adjust my grip so that I am not pressing so hard, but it saves my hands. I am amazed at the sound quality. Also, they stayed in tune after about 10 minutes of playing. They don't take nearly as long to settle as any other strings I have used.
