Made for my Strandberg - great feel and sound

These came stock with my Boden Standard 7. D'Addario have made a very nice set of strings tailored for the Strandberg 7-string multi-scale system. These feel very smooth, have a bright and clear tone, and they have nice even tension from high-e to Low-A (I drop tune). I'm not going to keep using NYXLs for my Strandberg simply out of convenience that they've made a tailored set made specifically for my brand of guitar - though it's a bonus; I'm going to keep stringing-up my 7 with these sets because they really do feel and sound fantastic. Well, maybe it's both...who cares! :-)

Very well balanced on a standard scale 7-string.

I agree with the other reviewer who remarked that this set is the best out there for drop-A on a 26.5" scale guitar. I like these just fine in standard turning as well. These solve my problem of floppy lows and tight highs on my PRS SVN. The strings feel and sound remarkably good. The jump from .046 to .064 took a minute to get used to, but it feels natural now. Ideal for Drop A

I have gone through many manufacturers and string gauge assortments in my search for the best Drop A tension. When I found these, I was using a 26.5" scale length guitar and this was the best set I had found. Without custom ordering a personally tailored set of strings I think this is the best set on the market for the tuning.
