Don't Know What Low Reviews are Talking About
For mounting pedals and music kit it is absolutely superb. On clean surfaces the adhesive has a very strong hold and the hook & loop is almost too strong when fresh. I was able to mount a Truetone CS12 to the side of a rack with about 60% coverage (leaving the dip switches uncovered) and it holds great. Does a nice job on my pedals as well, nice solid hold.
Excellent Hold
This is the best Velcro adhesive for holding your pedals to the the board.Easy to handle and holds the pedals securely in place!
Great product
Works perfect very sticky and holds pedals firm in place!
JUST RIGHT for a pedal board.
I have used both the Pedaltrain stuff and the Velcro name brand stuff. The Pedaltrain stuff works better in my opinion because you CAN REMOVE a pedal easily. Where as the Velcro brand stuff holds so strong that you really have to STRUGGLE to exchange/move a pedal. Also, to make the Pedaltrain or the Velcro stuff hold better, all you have to do is push down on the pedal and slightly… read more twist the pedal back and forth a little bit and that process seats the hook and loop together making both kinds hold better. For me, the Velcro brand is great stuff but too strong for a pedal board. The Pedaltrain stuff is JUST RIGHT for a pedal board. Another tip, no matter which hook and loop stuff you use. I wipe the surfaces off with Lacquer thinner before applying the stuff. I never had either come loose/off.
