Very happy with this guitar! Workmanship appears high quality, frets are nicely filed, neck setup is correct, tuners turn smoothly. I lowered my action by removing the two shims beneath the saddle, and no fret buzz resulted. Acoustic response is quite bright; through the amp I get much fuller base and midrange. Battery change is much easier than on my older Ovation, using the pop-out… read more compartment above the pre-amp. Neck and body bindings are even and smooth. The quilted maple top is a pleasure to stare at, and begs me to pick it up and play. Customer service at Sweetwater, specifically Miles Patterson, really helped with my purchase. The saddle-integrated pickup came with one "dead" element, and Sweetwater had Ovation send a replacement pickup to my home within a week. Caring, courteous, and diligent with followup calls. Thanks for all of that. Also, the "choose which serial number" mechanism on the website allowed me to select the specific quilted maple top I wanted. When no two are exactly alike, this significantly increases my satisfaction. Great guitar for the money, and really a good place to buy it from.

This Guitar looks absolutely amazing in person the pictures do not capture the true look of this beauty. Very pleased with that unique . Ovation sound both plugged and unplugged.
