I purchased this on a Monday afternoon and had it setup and still got it on a Sunday--The setup is perfect for me--low action; GREAT intonation and NO FRET BUZZ. Bob Mondok is my sales engineer and he kept me in the loop the entire time. When Bob is not available--he has a GREAT Team that are as thorough and professional as he is. It took me awhile to finally pull the trigger on… read more buying a Ovation--it will never top my Taylor koa; but this Ovation is AWESOME and will allow me to keep my Taylor in the case more and out of HARMS WAY. If U want a middle range guitar; U should really consider this Ovation and have Sweetwater do their PROFESSIONAL SETUP.

Scratchy frets first I love the guitar sounds great low action but there is a rubbing scratching sound when using vibrato I don't know if this is poor strings or just threats that weren't polished enough guitar was made in China other than that Highly Recommend

People can talk crap all they want about this guitar. But play one for a month and you'll be completely blown away. Easy chorded, smooth changes, and you can run scales on it like an electric. By far one of my favorite guitars ever.... Taylor, Dean, Martin..included.

I had played a few of these in stores several months ago, so I knew I liked the feel and sound. I had not seen a black one other than photos, but I took a chance and went with it.
