Ovation Elite Celebrity Super Shallow Review

I would buy this guitar again.

If something happened to this guitar I would buy another one right away. This is my favorite guitar. It plays and sounds great. It sounds best plugged in. I play it through a Boss Katana 100. The neck is smooth and fits my hand perfectly. This is my second Ovation super shallow guitar. The first one had a passive pickup and a regular soundhole. It had more bass response,… read more but this one sounds better overall. I have been playing this guitar for several months and it continues to sound better and better. It is also beautiful to look at. My only knock is that it seems to go through batteries quicker than I would like. I change batteries as soon they drop below 9 volts. I can tell the difference in sound.

Best Acoustic I’ve Played

This is a phenomenal guitar.....Sweetwater is an excellent company.....and Mike Conyers is a rock'n sales rep. I was reluctant to purchase an acoustic guitar via the internet considering that I couldn't play it before purchasing but I decided to roll the dice and I wasn't disappointed. This is the best acoustic that I've ever played. I only wish now that I had paid a little… read more extra and had Sweetwater perform some of the additional tweaks that were available for this guitar. But nevertheless, it's an awesome guitar even as it comes stock. This is the only acoustic that I've ever played that plays almost like a solid body guitar. It has a very fast neck and has a tone like no other. It sounds like an Ovation which, as most guitar people know, is a sound all to itself.

Ovation elite super shallow sunburst

Ovation Celerity Elite Super Shallow CE48-1

I love it! It sounds great. I received a call about 2 hours after I order it to tell me it is on the way. I received it in great condition. It is beautiful. The only negative was that the battery was low and I had to change it out (no big deal). It looks great, plays great, and sounds great. Thank you all at Sweet Water.
