PAF Joe Neck Humbucker Pickup - Black Review

One of the best pickups ever made

This pickup continues to amaze me. I use it in the neck position of several guitars both solid body and semi hollow. It responds amazingly well to volume and tone control variations and is very sensitive to pick attack. My primary rig is a Mesa Mark V with mesa cab. I push the front end with a boost and use some pedal in the loop. The 12 adjustable pole pieces can be set to really balance the output across all strings. The only drawback is that Sweetwater only carries these in black, which is a huge shame because DiMarzio has almost every color and cover variety there is.
