Best I’ve found.
I can't go back now. These strings are more expensive but I've noticed they last much longer and sound and feel beautiful. Higher output, but not super hard feeling like stainless steel or cobalts. They just feel and sound right. Give them a try.
Not recommending if you desire to be on an ever-ending string quest or like changing strings every month.
I've been playing guitar for 25 years and these strings sound and feel uniquely exceptional on my '20 SG Jr. I tried various high-end strings (stock dogear P90 is setup near close to the strings) and was unsettled with the either the tension, output, brightness, balance between strings, intonation, harmonics vs fundamental, flexibility or feel to the touch but mostly was turned… read more off by a fizzy, low output low end which robed depth in power chords and lost distinction and definition between wound and plains. The tension of the TI plain strings feels like it has a 0.5 additional diameter; while in comparison, other plain string sets were too flexible and sounded weak. The TI plain strings are not necessarily stiff but are in a sweet spot that allows good bending but also has mass that holds up better for heavier picking. The TI wound strings, that are slightly lower in gauge than standard 10-46, has great flexibility with more output and depth than 10-46 sets and bend easily without sounding weak like strings that have a thinner core. Power Brights are bright and warm at the same time but not in an annoying harsh or fizzy way - they have more output, intonate spot on, have great fundamental and harmonic balance, last 3-4x longer and have a great feel to the touch - beyond any other string set that I've tried. My second favorite set was pure nickels which added a great warmth but also lowered output and low-high balance to some degree. These TI Power Brights must use some futuristic steel - they're beyond compare.
