Never Break a String Again! (Feels good too!)
I originally got these because to replace the saddles on my Squier Affinity Jazzmaster HH, and have since installed them on my '94 Peavey Predator, and decided to install on all future mod projects I start. Since I have installed them on my Jazzmaster I have had zero string breakage at all. And not only that, but they feel leagues better than a stock low end Squier's or Fender adjacent… read more brand's saddles. They are not sharp in the slightest, and are just as good as any other high end block steel saddles, with the added Graph Tech magic. They are easy to install. I would highly reccomend these to anyones looking for a cheap quality of life upgrade on their guitar.
Solved my problem!!!
On my Fender Thinline Telecaster I had been getting this ringing on my 1st and 2nd strings. I was having trouble figuring out where it was coming from. Then, one day I pushed on the string at the saddle and it stopped then returned a few seconds later. It was the OEM saddles, so I purchased these from Sweetwater. Problem gone!! My guitar sound has a fuller tone...not so twangy.… read more The guitar is back as my #1 playing guitar. Thanks Graph Tech and Sweetwater.
No more buzz
My Telecaster has been ringing (1st & 2nd strings) and I finally narrowed it down to the saddles. I purchased these Graph Tech saddles and after the setup, ringing gone. I even got to lower the action to 1.8mm at the 17th fret. Oh, and as a bonus, the high harshness is gone as well. So happy to have it fixed.
String Saver Saddles PG-8000-OC
I had a set of these saddles installed on my MIK G&L Tribute Legacy in conjunction with a plek job. Before the upgrade, the guitar had more treble than I like, and the bottom end was rather faint and hollow, so I was also looking at a future upgrade to the pickups. These saddles showed me that it wasn't the pickups. It was the strings transferring their energy through the original… read more saddles that was causing it. After the installation of the Graph Tech saddles the excessive treble is gone, and the bottom end now sounds full and rich. I have a MIK G&L S-500 that will definitely be getting a set of these down the road.
Inexpensive upgrade
A definite improvement
