I have been using DR Pure Blues for over, I think 15 years and they never disappoint me. They are very well made and last quite awhile. Ever since my first set of DR Blues, I have not even thought about trying any other brand. They are excellent.
Love the warm creamy tone and are super fret friendly

We all know about the rich creamy Dr sound , but the best part is being pure nickel , the are gentle on frets . So its a win , win , win all across the board .

I've been at this for awhile, and have tried just about every type of string: flats, rounds, half rounds, all the usual brands, and then some. A former band mate suggested these, and told me that DR Pure Blues are the only strings he will use. We both go through a lot of strings, so I decided to give them a try. I put .010s on a Double Cut LP Junior, and .011s on a Fender Duo-sonic.… read more The difference these strings make is so significant that my wife, who usually can't discern tonal subtleties, noted that the new strings really make a difference. The tone improved on both guitars I've put them on so far. DR strings produce a clear and rich tone, with pleasing harmonic characteristics. I'm also experiencing better tuning stability with them. Overall, I could not be happier.
