SMOOTH AS BUTTER and WARM!

If you haven't tried pure nickel, you're missing out. I can't speak to longevity yet, but at first impression, they are fantastic sounding and feeling. I bought them warm up some of the highs, and they do exactly that. If you like warm, or need to soften some treble in your gear, these are great! Will be buying again. And again.

Dollar-for-dollar, the best strings on the market!

Just like most things in life, everyone's opinion is just that, their opinion. To me, these are by far the best strings on the market and I've used a lot of strings: D'Addarios, Ernie Ball's, Elixirs, S.I.T.'s, etc. To me, no other string comes close. I have guitars with tremolos (Strat, Guild Starfire V, Reverend Gil Parris) and some without and these strings stay in tune without read more issue and they last a long time. I play 15+ hours a week and they usually last well over a month before needing to be changed. Dollar-for-dollar, the best strings on the market!

Great for an LP

These things sound mellow, smooth, and sweet on my Epiphone Les Paul Studio. These may sound TOO mellow for some, but throw a little crunch, cut the bass, and boost the mid - you'll get sweet solo tone. Great for a jazz sound and bluesy too. The sustain is notably better than the last strings I used, and string tension is nice and fairly heavy on a ~25.5 scale. Lite and heavy read more is a great mix of playability, tone, and string feel.
