This amp is a really great amp. I've read reviews calling it beginner amp but after playing I can see how one might get away with being your only amp. I play jazz and get a good clean sound, turn the amp and guitar volume down. Get some crunch by increasing your pick attack. Crank up the amp volume and the sound slays. If you're thinking of getting one don't delay.

I love this amplifier. It's portable, runs on either batteries or A/C adapter. I can take it outside on the back porch, plug in, and just play. It has that built-in dirt I love for blues or classic rock. I can get nice clean tones out if it as well. Sounds great with single coiks, have not tried with humbuckers. I absolutely love my pignose. I usually plug into my 65 PRRI and was actually in the habit of moving it around to practice in various parts of the house. But sometimes you just want to keep it simple and the pignose is outstanding for that. It is at home sitting on the couch or in the bed room. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Crank the volume all the way and use your guitar volume knob to dial in the right amount of clean. This amp has some rude distortion, beautiful crunch, and sweet cleans when you adjust your guitar volume accordingly. I use it for the back yard, but it's great for jamming anywhere. I've wanted one for over 15 years now and I'm glad I got it.
