This is a great tool! The trigger direction takes a bit of getting used to, but once that's down this tool is so easy to use. The speed is perfect not so fast that you're going to break a string using it but fast enough to cut your restringing time in half. I really like mine and have had no problems at all with it. Thanks Cody Kraus and Sweetwater.
Makes changing strings way too easy

i can't believe i waited this long... i had misgivings. why would someone need a battery-powered machine to wind and unwind a guitar string? I've always waited too long to change strings. they had to be good and dead before I changed them. erchhhh erchhh erchhh... thank you ernie ball.

This works great especially when you're tweaking a nut or some other work that requires a lot of repetitive slacking off and retuning guitar strings. This goes double for 3x3 headstocks where half the pegs are on the other side and turn backwards.

Does the job well. Don't know how long it stays charged but I have changed the strings on 8 guitars so far straight out of the pack. Haven't charged it yet. I have bad arthritis and using this is easy and fast compared to the manual string winders. I used to dread changing strings but after I got my first one done I went ahead and did all the rest. Easy breazy.
