Goodness covered with ballistic nylon

My first quality guitar amp was a 110-watt 212. I kept being told, "Turn it down!" Then, a 100-watt 212. "Turn it down!" Then a 130-watt 112. "Turn it down!" Then, a 40-watt 210. "Turn it down!" Then, a 15-watt class A 112. Yup, you guessed it. Now, I just bought this rascal. 12 watts, bags of clean headroom. I'm not going to turn it down. The "sweet spot" is just too read more good to mess with. It's more "vocal" sounding than any amp I have owned, though not the brightest if that's what you seek. The amp responds readily to changes in the controls, and I am still exploring how the volume and tone controls interact with each other. And oh, that reverb! The tones are delicious, the amp is a nice piece of furniture, and it's the loudest 12 watts I care to hear. One tiny issue: when I plug in the reverb footswitch, the reverb circuit generates som 60 Hz noise. A different footswitch yields the same noisy result. I am conversing with tech people right now, but it may be that I will just lose the footswitch and run the reverb "always on."

I was in the market for a princeton style amp and trying to choose between a few. All the Fender versions and some other smaller builders. I was really interested in the way the reverb is done on this amp with the dwell control. Well this thing does not disappoint! Thanks Tomir for helping me choose. Zero regrets! Buy it!

The amp has greatly exceeded my expectations. Every review I watched/read stated that this little 12 watt amp is plenty loud enough to play with a band. I thought it was too good to be true. An amp that little couldn't sound that huge. But it DOES! This thing is perfect for the stage I'm at in my career. Playing mostly in bars where you can't crank up too often as well as outdoor read more festivals. The tone is super sweet sounding and plays really really nice with pedals. On top of all that it looks killer too! Very happy with my purchase.

I've owned several amps through the years and I'm very impressed with the tone and probably the best spring reverb I've heard. This amplifier is perfect for classic rock or modern country. It takes pedals very well but this amp has a thing for Dirty Shirley (Freidman). The clean shimmer keeps you up at night contemplating skipping work the next day. I have to mention Ikes Taylor read more my Sweetwater rep. Worked with him for years and this guy rocks customer service!!!
