Spanner Wrench
It is better to have this and not need it than to need it and not have it. It's better than what you see in the picture.
Simple and clever—and no damage!
I have a brand new Gretsch G2622-P90, whose cheap knobs were sucking the beauty from an otherwise elegant instrument. Unable to let this stand, I ordered about 15 knobs that I could mix and match till I found the perfect combination. Throughout all that popping, pushing, and (ahem) screwing, this tool made the removal of control knobs from pot shafts a literal snap. If that weren't… read more sufficiently stellar, the glue-on backing—which is an almost organically-soft microfibre felt—left not the least mark on my finish. The fingerprints were worse. Highly recommend. Just be careful you get that backing on right the first time—because like all adhesive-backed stuff, it can be a bit a pain in the vacuoles to reposition once it's grabbed hold of something it likes.
Perfect for knurled round nuts!
I couldn't find anything to tighten those Les Paul 3 way switch nuts that are round and knurled without damaging them and then I found this. Works perfectly!
Very handy little tool
I bought this to tighten and/or loosen the nuts and screws on my guitar and remove the knobs and it works perfect, a really handy took to have in your gig box, and it comes with a soft backing so it won't scratch your instrument
More Useful Than You Think
This is such a convenient tool to have in your arsenal. Whether your doing setups, swapping knobs or tightening tuner nuts this things gotcha covered.
