These amplifiers are amaZing!

I've got two Fender Pro Junior IV amplifiers, I've got one in the practice space and one that's broken in nicely that i use for shows. I love these amps, i love the sound, i love the simplicity. I had one of these amplifiers many years ago and sold it because i thought i needed a bigger amp as a gigging guitarist, as most of the guys we played shows with were using stacks or larger read more combos. I wasn't real happy with anything else that i tried afterwards... I bought and sold a lot of amplifiers before deciding to get back to the basics and get another Fender Pro Junior. I honestly couldn't be happier with my tone. These amps are definitely giggable, and they have no problem keeping up with a drummer in the practice space. You might need to put a mic in front of it for the larger venues. My rig consists of two dual humbucker ESP LTD guitars with Pearly Gates humbuckers, and a Proco Rat for my distortion sounds. I like to keep it simple.

This amp exceeds my expectations, with humbuckers it's an absolute little gain monster. It's very easy to dial in a Billy Gibbons type tone, just put everything on 12! Rolling off your guitar volume it cleans up quite nicely. This amp is perfect for studio use, and loud enough to keep up with a drummer. Mic'd you could play any show with this little workhorse. Within 30 seconds read more of firing it up, I knew right then and there if it was lost, I would buy another one instantly. Sweetwater customer service was as always, above and beyond!

Big things come in small packages and this little amp sounds huge.

I'm planning on grabbing another one of these. The P10R Jensen is a perfect match for this amp and sounds amazing. I had the version 3 limited grey tweed with the p10r and honestly I don't remember why or when I sold it lol. In any event the amp was a hissy when it first arrived following advice on a few forums I separated out the heater wires from the bundle gave them a bit of read more a twist and the amp went dead silent.

Fantastic amp I wish I could get years ago.

What an amp! Saw this on the Sweetwater list of beginner amps and wish I had this many years ago. Have had for several months, and it still puts a smile on my face every time I plug into it. The simple layout sold me... just volume, tone, your guitars volume, and your fingers. Really sings when driven with creamy OD from the Jensen speaker. The only con is that there's no read more speaker out to use an attenuator or cab. With a 2 x 10 it would sound amazing. And yes... reverb would be nice. But the amp is so engaging that you don't really miss it. Gotta say as well... it's made in Mexico, not China, Singapore, etc... a plus in my book for sure. An amazing amp for the price and for what it brings to the table. So good I'm taking it to my amp guy to mod.

This amp is a must have for any guitarist. The tone is great with humbuckers, single coils and P90s .this amp is small in size but big in volume and tone. Works great with pedals too. I LOVE THIS AMP!!!
