Beyond perfect for the price point

Paired up with my Helix… read more LT, and set up with 10-52 strings with PRS locking tuners, and this thing beat all the others. It's incredibly clean playing, and easy to use. It can take quite a bit of overdrive as well! If you have the piezo SE simply use the non piezo input for the same exact character (I have both guitars). You will not find a Hollowbody of higher quality and with the clear versatility of this one. Get one used for an even better deal.

I am a player and not a collector. Bought this in the middle of the great lockdown of 2020 and I believe I waited 6 months. The quality of this build exceeds the price point. The play of this build exceeds the price point. And the finish is beautiful which is the least important to me. This was my first full hollowbody guitar and the first time in a live setting, I felt like I… read more climbed aboard a bucking bronc. Once I learned how to tame it, I realized the versatility of this instrument. I am not a humbucker person but I liked these. I liked the expressiveness I could achieve and the nice open sound. It can do sweet and it can do rowdy and all in between and do it well. It is my first go to in live, recording, solo and jamming.

Excellent Guitar for the Price

I've owned many guitars, including some high end PRSi and this SE is right up there. Stock, it is well above most other guitars at this price point, but add a few upgrades and it jumps up into another category. I added a pre-wired McCarty electronics kit (available from the PRS store) and a set of OX4 Low Wind pickups - WOW. It brought an already lively guitar to life. I have a PRS Deluxe gig bag I'll probably use for this most of the time, but I bet the hardcase will work well for local gigs, etc. I didn't purchase mine from SW since it was out of stock, but I still want to give a shout to my SE Ben Rys. He and the SW team always take care of me!

Fantastic Guitar!!!

I researched this guitar and the blue solid body SE 35th Anniversary. It was making me insane trying to make a final decision. I ultimately chose this beautiful hollowbody and I'm EXTREMELY happy with my decision! I picked this one because of its built in quality, including the ebony fretboard, binding and bone nut. Eventually I'll probably get the solid body if they're still available… read more but for right now I'm happy as hell with this hollowbody! I highly recommend this fantastic and beautiful guitar. I LOVE MY FIRST PRS SE HOLLOWBODY!

I bought this Guitar in February 2020, and I must say I love it alot, very light in weight, i love the neck and fingerboard easy to play, it stays in tune !!the color is amazing.... fits in the provided case perfectly and the experience with Sweetwater is always a pleasure! Especially with Norm my sales rep! Looking forward to a future purchase of another PRS!!
