Unexpected Fabulousness
Made in China?. So what! It is made very well and plays and sounds like a much more expensive guitar. I use it for Jazz by switching to the front pickup and rolling the volume and tone controls back to get a super smooth, rich and fat tone. Balance is great and it weighs very little. PRS has quality control wired and this model does not disappoint in that regard. Overall I am… read more very pleased with the guitar and would highly recommend you to buy one.
Really kinda freaky.
I've had this for about 6 months now, and finding this thing is really more versatile than my first impressions lead me to believe. The balance of the guitar is great, and small adjustments can take this sucker from being a gentle breeze, to a surprising thunderstorm real fast like. Doesn't seem to be able to get really low, but if that isn't your main area, I would definitely… read more consider one of these. The light weight really makes it easy for any way you play, as well as the fretboard with its little extra size to move. These humbuckers are fantastic. You can switch to any position without having the amp blow your eardrums out in the process. This guitar will just really fool ya, if you let it. This is a great guitar.
PRS SE Hollowbody
Great guitar! Plays better than my Les Paul. Looks and sounds fantastic. Sweetwater's customer service, shipping, and follow up have been the best I have experienced from and on line purchase. Thanks so much. You have a long term customer in me.

Couldn’t be happier!
What a beaut. Never had a PRS before, but would definitely consider one again. Beautifully made guitar, looks great with a lovely sunburst finish, and it sounds fantastic. Unlike (in a very good way) other guitars I've had, Solid or Hollowbody. Quick rundown on what I'm happy with. Nothing negative I can think of yet. Well balanced and doesn't dive either way, lightweight… read more and lovely hard case. Low action with no fret buzz, factory strings sound great. Smooth fret ends and neck, effortless to play with the wide neck, and solid tuners. Pickups are really, really nice. Smooth and you can hear every string, even when you crank them high. Sounds great through clean amp with low gain, and also great note definitions through overdrive or fuzz pedals I tried. Priciest guitar I've bought but way nicer than my Fender Tele, or I like it more than my wife's Gibson LP. I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone who might want a versatile, lightweight and easy to chord and finger guitar. I would have to say I will probably play this guitar until it breaks or I do.
