I installed one of these in my Godin A6 Ultra because I wasn't getting the sound I wanted out of the stick pickup. The Godin pickup might be great for jazz in the hands of a nuanced player, but didn't sound great overdriven or even clean jangly chord work because it was so lower mid focused. The Pysclone install was easy, and the sound was better than I anticipated. It didn't expect… read more it to make my A6 sound like my Gretsch, but it does impart a certain amount of chime and clarity that reminds me of the filtertron sound. Sounds great at high and low volumes, pairs with the onboard piezo well, and works nicely with a variety of pedals. Listening with my eyes, it looks really cool too.

Installed this neck Psyclone in a Squire strat . The fit was great and the sound was excellent. Later ordered the bridge Psyclone and installed this with no trouble also . These pups are amazing and was the sound I was looking for.
