It's an echo!
Wished I'd had one of these fifty years ago, but I have one now and I'm getting my rock and roll off! Thanks Sweetwater and Boss!
I have the RE-20. It’s old but I’ve never got rid of it.
I don't have this model but I'm sure it's as good or better. Great pedal with a smooth delay that's not overwhelming.
Improving a classic
My Sweetwater rep Josh was super helpful in letting me know about updates from Boss leading up to this release and got it shipped out fast. If you've heard the RE-20 or RE-201, you know what to expect, and you won't be disappointed. If not, this is a tape delay style effect with some reverb and a few simulated tape heads to really give you flexibility. It's not a wild experimental… read more pedal, but it's one that you can use in any mode and get great sound out of. Don't forget to checkout the RE-201 preamp setting. All that plus being wildly smaller than it's predecessors and it's hard to recommend this enough.
