Great tone feel
I prefer heavier gauge and nickel wound strings. If you like nickel wound strings try these. GHS also makes a Burnished Nickel string that is very nice, especially for blues. I do a lot of string bending, some whammy bar. Have never broken a string when playing, even with serious bends. I was using Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky strings, which are similar gauge (.011-.054), but some strings, especially the G, felt just a little too thick for standard tuning. One other great thing about the set, especially the wound strings, is that they can handle a strong pick attack very well. Overall, I highly recommend these strings to anyone who prefers a heavier string gauge. If it has Eric Johnson's name on it, you know that it has to be good!
