It's a Ricky 12-String. While there aren't a lot of songs that call for the crisp, clean, cutting yet melodic tone of a 12-string, when you need it, you need it and there's no better 12-string than the Rickenbacker 360/12C63. I've had several 12-string guitars over my long history, but ever since George Harrison introduced us to the incredibly tone, I've been chasing it only to… read more be disappointed. The only way to get that great Ricky tone is with a Ricky. Yup, it's a little pricey for your average guitar guy, but my advice would be, stop wasting your money on the imitators. It took me 54 years to get there. If you want great 12-String tone, you want a Ricky. Accept no substitutes!

Wowza!! I got it a week ago today, March 1st 2021. Man its everything I'd hoped for, perfect finish and sound. Lowered the bridge tuned it up and its Byrds and Beatles tunes time in the studio. Plays so much better than my first electric 12 string and it plays great. It's the most I've ever payed for a guitar but worth every dime. Thank you Sweetwater and Kevin for your service.
